day 301: building

On Saturday the unfathomable happened: I ran into one of my friends on the street! Remember, we’re talking about Berlin, a city of 3.5 million inhabitants and a ton of tourists. Still, I manage to meet one of my few friends on some random street in Prenzlauer Berg, that’s amazing! We were going through some (hipster) shops along Kastanienallee and then turned left into a street with lots of cafés that leads towards the Mauerpark. There I suddenly hear my name and turn around. I was slightly baffled.
Later, on the way back to the U-Bahn, we went along Bernauer Straße and I thought the crane would make a nice picture. I really like the colours.

Enjoyed the detailed story of winding through your city. We live on the outskirts of a town of 5,000 with two traffic lights.

The colors really are spectacular…
I like how the crane seems to frame the mural, too.

I agree about the colours, definitely the reason why I chose this picture
